Here are some notes to help with your trip to Seattle:
Air Travel & Local Transportation
The Seattle International Airport (SEA) is called SeaTac. A convenient and inexpensive connection from airport to Seattle is via the Link light rail. These trains run every fifteen minutes throughout the day. You avoid rush hour traffic and the last stop (Westlake) is your closest connection to the Bell Harbor Conference Center. A taxi will cost about $30-40 depending on the time of day. Rush hour traffic can be tough. But in the middle of the day, a cab is the quickest way to go. The airport is also serviced by Shuttle Express.
Home-bound tip: All security gates at SeaTac get you into the same common area. The line can be long at one and short at another.
There is a free shuttle for access to the waterfront and local attractions.
Ample public parking is available in the area surrounding the hotels. Typically, you can get a significantly reduced rate by arriving before 8am at many lots. Parkopedia is a free website that lists all the publicly available parking lots and garages and also provides information about street parking.
