Patricia Palmer is a User Experience Director at TIAA – a leader in serving the financial needs of people in academic, government, medical, cultural and other nonprofit fields.
With more than 30 years of design experience, Patti’s strategic thinking and empowering management style encourages designers to push the bounds of creativity using emotions to connect and shape products’ experiences from concept to implementation. This approach has helped her team create award winning digital experiences across mobile, web and tablets – experiences that have been ranked #1 for participant website by Dalbar, Inc. for 13 consecutive quarters, rising from a rank of #26 just 7 years earlier.
Before TIAA, Patti created digital experiences for Bank of America – wealth management, Fidelity Investments, iCollaborative, Boston Capital Partners, and old school print and marketing related materials for financial companies with the Dickerson Group (before the internet took storm!).
With a bachelor degree in graphic design from UMass, Dartmouth, Patti continued her learnings at Ecole Superieure d’Arts Graphiques in Paris, France, and also honed her skills in collaboration, innovation, and creativity at Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d. School) at Stanford University.
When Patti isn’t creating digital concepts or experiences for the future, you can find her on a beach, traveling, or transforming properties into great spaces.
